The delivery time for all of our products is two to six weeks.

We feel it is important to keep you always informed about the expected delivery date. Therefore, we are making sure that the delivery time on the individual product pages is kept up-to-date at all times. Once you have placed your order, we will inform you about the expected delivery date by email.

Once your order is ready for delivery, the delivery driver will call you to schedule a delivery time. Delivery is only possible on business days (Monday to Friday).

Important:  The commissioned delivery driver will deliver your order to the first door of the building. If you live in an apartment building, this means the front door of the building. In other words, they will not carry the items to a different floor. In some cases, the delivery driver may help you carry the order into your home, but this is not required and the driver is simply doing this to be helpful. Your Washtower cupboard will be delivered as a whole (pallet + order).

The delivery fee depends on the country it needs to be shipped to. See below an overview (with the exception of different Islands and/or other places with higher delivery fees, for that we calculate the delivery upfront).

Absolutely! The cupboard (WSCS1462) has undergone load testing by TÜV Rheinland for up to 120 kg. The 22 mm-thick base plate on which the washing machine is placed can withstand loads of up to 120 kg. The sides of the cupboard also serve a reinforcing function and the cupboard construction is designed to absorb the vibrations of the washing machine and dryer.

The washing machine cupboard is available in white (with a white interior), a natural oak look (with a cashmere-coloured interior), and a black oak look (with a titanium-coloured interior). The colour of the white cupboards is comparable to RAL9016.

Our customers often ask us about the material used to make the cupboards at Washtower and whether this material is suitable for the combination of weight and vibrations of a washing machine.

Our cupboards are made of high-quality board material (chipboard) with a melamine coating. In developing our cupboards, we conducted a material study to determine the most suitable type of board for the cupboard. As part of this, we contacted various major and well-established European manufacturers of kitchens and bathrooms for information. We learned that all of them use chipboard and not plywood or MDF.

High-quality board material has a high compression strength and consists of fibres. These fibres are most suitable for strong screw connections. This type of material is flexible and the connections won’t break due to vibrations, which will actually be absorbed. MDF, on the other hand, is made of compressed fine sawdust, so the connections will be very vulnerable due to vibrations. MDF is a rigid material that transmits vibrations rather than absorb them. A durable screw connection is not possible with MDF or only in combination with a pre-glued plug.

Our protected cupboard construction makes sure that the cupboard absorbs the vibrations caused by the washing machine. Thanks to the combination of material and construction of the washing machine cupboards at Washtower, we boast the highest quality standard in Europe: TÜV certification. This means that we can claim with pride that our cupboards are 100% safe!

• The cupboard frame is made of 22 mm thick high-quality chipboard. The top layer is coated with melamine (as used in the kitchen, bathroom and furniture industry) and the edges on the front are protected from scratches and impact damage by edge reinforcement.
• We have also developed a special metal base plate that comes with every basic cupboard and is placed under the machine. The sides are raised and the front and back are rounded, so that any water released cannot enter the cupboard joints.
• Thus, our cabinets are moisture resistant but not waterproof. When used in a damp room (e.g. bathroom or basement), it is important that good ventilation is possible, so that the cabinets do not remain in a damp environment for a long time. Good ventilation is defined as: an open window or mechanical ventilation in combination with an open window.

• Exterior dimensions: 67x146 (including adjustable feet) x65.4 cm (WxHxD)
• Interior dimensions of the recess: 62.6x86.3x58.9 cm (WxHxD)
• Interior dimensions of the basket drawer: 54.5x30.5(functional storage height)x43.5 cm (WxHxD)

The appliances will be positioned at a height of around 60 cm. This ensures that you do not have to bend while doing the laundry.

No, the cabinets are completely open on the back. This makes it easy to connect everything. The drawer unit  and pull-out tray on the WSCS1462 under the washing machine are 60 cm deep, so that you can easily connect everything in a downward direction. 

• If you have a 61 cm high top cabinet on top of the washing machine cabinet WSCS1462, the total height - including adjustable feet - will be 207 cm.
• With a top cabinet of 87 cm in height, the total height - including adjustable feet - will be 233 cm.

With the soft-closing device, the doors and drawers of the cupboards close gently and noiselessly. This cushioning technique slows down the drawers and doors and then closes them automatically. This makes it much more pleasant to close the cabinet doors.

Yes! Thanks to the special construction of our washer dryer cupboards, you can put your washing machine in a cupboard. Washtower is the only European company to have the German quality certificate Tüv. This certificate ensures that the cupboard will not fall over and the machines do not fall out of the cupboard.

Yes! The WSTT185 allows you to easily put your dryer on top of your washer. The washer cannot be placed on top of the dryer because of spinning, weight and vibrations. Alternatively, you can raise both machines to the ideal working height by placing them in the washer dryer cupboard. Do you need more storage? Then extend your washing machine cupboard with tall storage cupboards or top cabinets. Thanks to Washtower, you can configurate the ideal washing machine cupboard for any room!

With a spacer piece, you can place your dryer on top of your washer and save space! Our Tower makes stacking your machines easy and safe! The base plate ensures that your tumble dryer stays safely and securely on top of your washing machine. In addition, the washer dryer cabinet absorbs vibrations and the pull-out tray is perfect for your laundry basket. 

TÜV or Technical Inspection Association is a German body that tests, inspects and certifies products, and systems to ensure potential hazards and prevent damages. The washing machine cupboards from Washtower passed the quality test with flying colours, making it the first and only TÜV-certified washing machine cupboard in Europe that is 100% traceable. This is your guarantee should anything go wrong with the cupboard in combination with the raised appliances.

• The installation instructions are always included in "package no. 1".
• With the basic cupboards, the contents of packages no. 1+2 are needed to assemble the cupboard (but this does not have to be done where the cupboard will be placed). The contents of package no. 3 are needed to finish the final components of the cupboard and to place it in its permanent location.

Absolutely. You can make a cut-out wherever you need it. If, for example, you want to have the faucet next to the cupboard, you can make a cut-out in the side of the cupboard for the water supply. The base plate ends at the wall. If the water supply extends slightly above the floor, you can easily make a notch in the base plate for connecting the water supply hose.

Yes! A compact and flat wall faucet fits behind the washing machine. An example can be seen here. If you have a different type of wall faucet, there are three options: 

1. You can choose to turn the faucet a quarter of a turn, so that everything stays concealed in the cupboard.
2. You can place the faucet next to the cupboard, so that you can easily access it. 
3. You can install the cupboard 5cm from the wall, so that there is a 10 cm-wide space for pipes. See the technical drawings.

• For the WSCS1462, the drain and faucet should preferably be installed at a height of 120 cm.
• For the WSTT185, the drain and faucet should be installed at a height of 60-80 cm.
• Make sure the power cables are at least 10 cm above the drain and faucet. See an example here.
• Regarding the WSTT185, make sure there is enough space for the dryer, preferably at a height of around 120 cm.

The total permissible load of the WSCS1462 cupboard is 120 kg.

Yes. For the WSCS1462 we have developed a base plate on which the cabinet is built. This construction enables the material to absorb the resulting vibrations.

The cupboards at Washtower obtained the German TÜV-certification. Our cupboards have been tested by TÜV Rheinland for their mechanical and functional safety, as well as user-friendliness. This makes the cupboards at Washtower the first and only washing machine cupboard in Europe with safety certification. This certification also guarantees the strength of the cupboard.

No. Every basic cupboard is delivered with four large wall brackets and four 6 cm bolts, so that you can be sure that your cupboard is securely anchored to the wall.

No. The basic cupboards are fitted with an anti-tip device – developed and patented by us – that fully guarantees that no machine can shake itself out of the cupboard.

Washer and dryer can be well concealed in one of our various washing machine cupboards. You can choose between classic white or elegant black-oak cupboards. Thanks to the modular system, all washing machine cupboards fit perfectly together and create a calm and organized utility room. That way, you can hide your washing machine easily in the kitchen. However, it needs to be noted that doors should not be placed in front of the machines as this would disrupt airflow and could void the warranty. Dryers and washing machines can be placed in Washtower’s various cabinets without voiding the warranty.
