How do the adjustable feet work, and what height is the cabinet fully extended and fully retracted?

The adjustable feet under your washing machine cabinet let you level the cabinet, even on a floor that is not completely flat. By turning the feet in or out you adjust the height precisely at every corner.

How the adjustable feet work

The feet work with a threaded mechanism. Turn a foot further out and the cabinet sits slightly higher at that corner; turn it in and the cabinet drops at that point. That way you adjust every corner separately until the cabinet is completely level and rests firmly on the floor. On deep cabinets you can reach the rear feet easily from the front using an adjusting key.

Levelling the cabinet

  • Adjust the feet step by step and check each time with a spirit level, both from left to right and from front to back.

  • Make sure all the feet are in firm contact with the floor, so the cabinet does not wobble.

  • Do not turn the feet out further than necessary and always leave some thread inside the mounting block. That keeps the cabinet stable.
